As a founding partner in Central Florida Endocrine and Diabetes Consultants, P.A. in Maitland, Florida, Penny S. Glickman, M.D. is board certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism and Internal Medicine. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Duke University and was awarded her medical degree from the University of South Florida. While at the University of South Florida, she was a member of AOA Medical Honor Society. Dr. Glickman completed her internship and residency at the Medical College of Virginia. In addition, she completed a fellowship in Endocrinology also at the
Medical College of Virginia.
Dr. Glickman is involved in numerous medical organizations, including serving as President of the Florida Endocrine Association, secretary/treasurer of the Florida Endocrine Society, and Florida representative of the national AACE organization. She is also a much sought-after presenter at medical conferences around the country. She has been listed in the Orlando Magazine as one of the top doctors in Central Florida since 2000. Dr. Glickman has been in private practice since 1990.
She is an active member of numerous societies and organizations including American Academy of Clinical Endocrinologists and The Endocrine Society.
Dr. Glickman is married and the proud mother of three sons, one daughter and a granddaughter. She has been a volunteer for over 20 years at Shepherd’s Hope and Grace
Medical. In 2021, Dr. Glickman was the recipient of the Shepherd’s Hope Volunteer of The Year Award.
